    Safety Tips for Mehndi

    1. Before applying, test the henna on a tiny area of skin to look for any adverse reactions.
    2. Verify that there are no hazardous chemicals or artificial additives in the henna paste.
    3.  Steer clear of black henna, as it might have dangerous compounds like para-phenylenediamine (PPD).
    4. To avoid irritate eyes or ingesting it, keep henna away from mouth and eyes.
    5. To prevent staining, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the area of skin where henna will be applied.
    6.  After handling henna, properly wash your hands to avoid accidentally getting it in your mouth or eyes.
    7. Because henna paste can be poisonous if consumed, keep it away from kids and animals.
    8. To avoid infection, avoid putting henna on wounds, bruises, or damaged skin.
    9. To prevent irritating skin, remove henna paste carefully without scrubbing.
    10. After applying henna, moisturise your skin to preserve the design and encourage it to last.

A Few Tips for Darker Mehndi Colour

    1. To get more blackness, rub sugar and lemon juice mixture over the dried mehndi.
    2. After applying mehndi, wrap your hands in a warm cloth or sit in a warm place to keep them warm.
    3. After removing the dried mehndi paste, wait at least 12 hours before washing your hands.
    4. To enhance the colour of the dried mehndi, lightly coat it with eucalyptus oil.
    5. Avoid using a hairdryer or fan and let the mehndi dry naturally.
    6. For darker stains, go for premium mehndi paste that contains more real henna.
    7. For the first 24 hours following application, keep the mehndi design away from moisture and friction.
    8. For a darker colour, apply a mixture of lemon juice and clove oil to the dried mehndi.
    9. For deeper colours, lightly coat the mehndi pattern with mustard oil and then scrape it off.
    10. Once the dried mehndi paste has been removed, gently rub your hands together to reveal a darker colour.
